Beef Taco Salad Is Easy
BEEF TACO SALAD is easy and so delicious. This spicy beef taco recipe is packed with ground beef, chili peppers, corn, shrimp and avocado. It is perfect for a quick, easy meal on a weeknight and takes just 30 minutes to make. Blending is key to creating this healthy taco-salad. It’s easy to make this healthy snack and impress your guests.
Ingredients :
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1 package Taco Seasoning Mix
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 medium-sized yellow onion, chopped
- 1 14.5 oz Mexican-style diced tomatoes, unstrained 4 to 6 cups
- 1 c Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Shredded lettuce
- Green onions sliced
- Bell peppers can be chopped green, red, or yellow.
- Optional molded taco bowl shell
How To :
- Make crumbles from ground beef and heat in a large skillet on medium heat for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is tender. For the final 2-3 minutes of cooking, add yellow onion. If necessary, drain any excess grease.
- Next, stir in the seasoning mixture and salt. Bring to a boil. Add tomatoes. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Divide the lettuce on 4 plates or Bowl Shells. Each one should be topped with the beef mixture. Sprinkle with cheese, bell peppers, green onions, and cheese.
